In the Village of Spencer,NY a very large, new crane was on site at Nichols Pond. Friday morning the crane tipped onto it's side and now lays on it's side with the body of the equipment on soggy land and the boom end of the business under water. There is a steady traffic of dump trucks hauling bucket loads of soil away from the scene. Excavation personnel are preparing to upright the crane, sometime next week.
