After undergoing his 2nd sugery in 6 months, Zachary found himself in a wheelchair for Halloween. He was sad in thinking that he could not go trick or treating with his brother and sister and said "how can I if I cannot go up to the door?" Zachary is a huge NASCAR/Jeff Gordon fan and what better way to lift his spirits than to create a Jeff Gordon costume to accomodatge his wheelchair. It was a huge sucess and Zachary could not stop smiling. He enjoyed trick or treating even thugh he could not go up to the door. He loved the attention he received for being Jeff Gordon for a day.
