Today began the facade removal on Bresee's Oneonta Department Store. Oneonta firm Eastman Associates is removing the aluminum covering from the brick building. The store had been a fixture in downtown Oneonta since it opened in 1899, but has been closed for about 10 years. A rehabilitation and reuse project is planned for the building.
