Local Club supports our Veterans

It was announced at the December meeting of the Southern Tier Corvette Club that more then 130 cases of new and used magazine collected from the general public were sent to 20 different locations around the world over the past two years, to the men and women who serve in our Armed Forces.
The Southern Tier Corvette Club, a "Vettes for Vets Organization", collects magazines from the public, then along with the Cruisin Buddies car club and the Cortland Antique Automobile Car club, packs them up and ships them off to our troops, along with a letter of thanks.
More of magazines are needed, so if you have new, or used magazines that are less then 3 years old that you would would like to donate, please call Dave Dubois, Vice President of the Southern tier Corvette Club at 723-5456, and he'll make arrangement to pick them up. David, and the Southern Tier Corvette Club would like to thank all who supported this effort.
Along with sending magazines to our troops, The Southern Tier Corvette Club has also set aside $500 for the Veteran's Home in Oxford, New York for requested video equipment. Donations of $100 will also be made to the Humane Society, and Lend-a-Hand.
