Athena the guinea pig is a classroom pet in Jane Whittock's room at Broome Tioga BOCES. She is a very special pig and truly a member of the class. She sits on her own pillow at circle and spends hours giving love to her disabled classmates. Athena is also a model and will pose anywhere in any costume that you offer her-as long as you shoot her good side! Here are some photos from her Christmas photo shoot.

i know athena and see is trueley the very best animal i have ever met me and my whole family loves her my mother Amanda bickham brong her home so we could wach her over brack that is when i emedeatly fell heads over toes in love with her.

Athena was adopted by our classroom last year from the BOCES School House Animal Rescue. She has been the best guinea pig anyone has ever been around. She loves to be a part of the classroom and we all love her!
