It happened around 1:30 Monday afternoon on Route 13 in Cortlandville. New York State Police say a tractor trailer and pickup truck were driving north. The tractor trailer swerved to avoid the truck and it jack-knifed, and ended up hitting a home. The house only had minor damage, but the lumber the tractor trailer was hauling fell all over the roadway.
