When I went out for a walk this afternoon I was greeted by this amazing sight.
What appeared to be a Golden Eagle or immature Bald eagle. After a few passes over the river and a brief time resting on the West bank, it was last seen flying off to the Southwest. The late afternoon light made it difficult to get a good look at the bird's colors so I am not sure whether it is young a Bald Eagle or Golden Eagle.

I saw this eagle just last Tuesday (2/2/10) it is indeed a bald eagle. Saw it behind Cutler's Ice on Front Street in Binghamton.
