Purple Shamrock

The purple shamrock blooms year round

Oxalis (pronounced /ˈɒksəlɪs/) or better know as "Purple Shamrock" blooms especially in Spring and Summer outdoors. But in your home they bloom year-around with the proper care. This photo was taken in early February in my home office.

The leaflets show "sleep movements", spreading open in light and closing in darkness like the popular green shamrock.

Since St. Patrick's Day is only a week away, I just wanted share this with you.
