The Chenango River in Binghamton has recently acquired some new inhabitants. Muskrats, have move in and set up housekeeping along the river bank. I have seen at least 3 different individuals and apparently one mated pair. The recent rains have made them a bit more bold as they nose around the river drift looking for food and nesting materials.
