Ducks In A Tree?

Quit odd...I have never seen ducks land in a tree before? I guess the river was just too high for them to land in :) Enjoy

They appear to be wood ducks. They next in tree cavities and are quite at home on small ponds located in forests. We have quite a good population of them here in NYS. They made a great comeback since the 1900's when they were almost extinct.
