Went out after the storm to see how things were and was greeted as I started out by birdsong. Looking up, I saw a Cardinal high in a tree making a joyful noise unto the Lord. I also saw a pair of ducks paddling around in a puddle left after the rain. Things are back to normal on the North Side.
