Bowling for Dillon Fund raiser

A large number of children and adults gathered at Sunset Lanes in Kirkwood, NY on Sunday to "Bowl for Dillion. Dillon Pook, a 7 yr old Chenango Forks 2nd grader suffers from Lymphoma, a cancer that begins in the lymphatic cells of the immune system.
Those who participate not only enjoyed an afternoon of bowling fun, but they also had a hugh Chinese Auction, 50/50 raffle, and some lucky winners walked away with one of the many door prizes.
Steve Miller, owner of Sunset lanes, who's daugher died of cancer, donated the use of his facility for this wonderful event, and Wendy's corporation paid for all the food and refreshments. Also on hand was Tom Dockstader, President of the Southern Tier Corvette Club. Tom presented a check in the amount of $250 from the members of his club.
It was hoped that Dillion would be well enough to attend this event. Unfortunately, Dillion had to be readmitted to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY earlier this day because he was running a high fever.
Dillion Pook's family would like to thank all those who helped organize this event, and also those who attended.
