Last Wednesday, Harpursville's varsity baseball team captured their first-ever MAC title in their school's history.
Down 2-1, the Hornets scored the winning run against the Unatego Spartans on errors at the bottom of the 9th inning.
It was a fitting victory for the retiring Coach Ives, as well as for senior Ryan Dalpiaz who scored the winning run.
Congratulations to the entire team!
