My parent's gave me a Bluebird house for my birthday after I mentioned seeing Bluebirds in my back lawn. Over time we knew the Bluebirds had already moved on but noticed action at the Bluebird house. Our investigation provided us with these amazing pictures of a Chickadee nesting on the family to be. The Chickadee was very patient as she posed for the camera. We got a chuckle over the fact that she looks as though she has a feather shawl around her neck. She appears as though she's all dressed up and no where to go...
I've been gifted with several birds this year; including indigo bunting, red breasted grossbeak, carolina wren, perigan falcon, yellow gold finch, and the list goes on. It sure is colorful here in Tioga Center. They're God's small blessings.
