I have been trying to get a picture of this baby Turkey for quite some time. His/her mommy takes very good care of it. This morning I was finally able to get some pictures after seeing them the 3rd time. The mother doesn't stay in one place, she keeps her baby on the move. The survival rate for baby turkeys must not be very high because I have only seen this one and the local flock doesn't seem to be increasing very fast. They are a joy to watch, along with the gray foxes, deer, squirrels & big fat raccoon.
