At a little after 5 pm on Friday, 7-23-10, lightning struck the chimney on the southwest side of our house (located in the Town of Binghamton) blowing the chimney to pieces. No one was injured. Additional damage to the roof shingles, gutter and some damaged electronic devices in the house.
