VESTAL (WBNG) - The Binghamton men’s soccer team scored twice in the second half of their America East Conference showdown with NJIT, but the overtime proved to be too much. As the Highlanders scored just three minutes into the overtime period to hand the Bearcats their fifth straight loss.

NJIT finished with a 14-12 shot advantage. In shots on goal, however, they held a commanding 11-3 advantage. Junior goalkeeper Mats Roorda stopped two shots in the first half while redshirt junior goalkeeper P.J. Parker made six saves during the rest of the match.
