ENDICOTT (WBNG) -- It’s a tradition that has been running for as long as Village of Endicott Trustee Nick Burlingame can remember. The ‘Scareousel’ made a screaming return to Northside Park.
The ‘Scareousel’ is a decorated version of the park’s original carousel. Guests are encouraged to wear costumes and enjoy some spooky tunes while they ride.
Burlingame says it is nice to see the community out again after having to cancel the event last year.
“We try to do this event annually for community pride and spirit and it’s a phenomenal event for adults and children of all ages that get to come out and ride the scareousel, it’s a lot of fun for everyone.”
Fog fills the building that houses the carousel, while some creatures from beyond the grave join riders on the historic horses.
The ‘Scareousel’ runs until Halloween night at 8:00 p.m.
