Maine-Endwell advances to state title game for first time since 2014 with semifinal win over WNY Maritime
CICERO, N.Y. (WBNG) - The Maine-Endwell Spartans football team is back in the state title game for the first time in seven years after defeating Western New York Maritime/Health Sciences Charter School 41-8 in Class B semifinals.
QB Michael Mancini was responsible for five of the Spartans’ six touchdowns on the day. Mancini rushed for two, passed for two, and then returned a kickoff for a touchdown to open up the third quarter.
Mancini and the Spartans are looking to take home their first crown since their last appearance at the Dome since 2015, as they take on Pleasantville on Saturday, December 4 at 12 pm.
