BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WBNG) - Forward Tyler Gjurich recorded four points and Tyler Harkins scored in his first game in black and green as the Binghamton Black Bears snapped a two-game losing streak with a 7-4 victory over the Delaware Thunder.

Binghamton took an early 1-0 lead as Thomas Aldworth scored his first with the Black Bears just 57 seconds into the game. Harkins made it 2-0 with his first goal in his first game with the Bears. And Gjurich scored 10:41 into the opening period to give Binghamton a 3-0 lead.

Delaware scored back-to-back goals late in the first to decrease Binghamton’s lead to one at the end of the first, then quickly tied things up in the second. But the floodgates opened from there, as the Black Bears scored three unanswered to get their ninth win of the season.

The Black Bears return home Wednesday, December 29 against Danbury at 7 p.m.
