BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WBNG) - Forward Tyler Gjurich recorded a hat trick and goalkeeper Owen Liskiewicz stopped 44 shots in the Black Bears’ 7-3 victory over the Port Huron Prowlers to complete the weekend sweep.

After falling behind 3-0 after the first period, Liskiewicz didn’t allow another goal and the Bears’ offense exploded. Gjurich had three goals, Thomas Aldworth scored twice in the third, and both Josh Newberg and Nikita Ivashkin added insurance goals to secure the win.

Binghamton plays again on Friday, January 14 at home against Danbury. Puck drop from the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena is at 7 p.m.
