SIDNEY CENTER, N.Y. (WBNG) -- While this winter weather can be a headache for many of us around the Southern Tier, one local girl is turning it into something beautiful.

Like any 7-year-old, Kerra Constable has an active imagination. The only difference is she’s turning that imagination into reality.

“Unicorns are my favorite animals,” Kerra told 12 News. “Because they’re like horses. You can ride them and they’re very pretty.”

A life-size unicorn, big enough for Kerra to ride, sits in her front yard. Colored in pink sand and blue gems for eyes, it truly is a sight to behold. Kerra sculpted it from the snow in her front yard, all with her hands and in about four-and-a-half hours.

“The most difficult part was the jaw and the tail. Because I couldn’t get them to stay, so I had to get a bit of my grandma’s help,” Kerra said.

“It’s awesome,” Shannon Constable, Kerra’s Mom, said. " I love to see her create stuff, but I’m kind of jealous because I don’t have a single artistic ability in my body. So it’s nice to see that someone got the artistic gene!”

Thankfully, Kerra said she doesn’t plan on stopping creating more sculptures any time soon.
