You can now vote for September’s Southern Tier Tuesdays finalists

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- You have a chance to vote for your favorite community non-profit organization, which could win a $2,000 grant from Upstate Shredding through Southern Tier Tuesdays.

A non-profit is awarded a $2,000 grant every Tuesday during the year.

The nominees for September are:

Afton Glenwood Cemetery Association
Baden-Powell Council, Boy Scouts of America
Chapter BO – The P.E.O. International Sisterhood
Dale’s Depot
Delaware Valley Humane Society
Finger Lakes ReUse
Mercy House of the Southern Tier
NYTL Northern Tioga Youth League
The Retired Professional Fire Fighters Cancer Fund
Athens-Sayre CHOW for Children
Windsor Corn Festival & Tractor Show of the Windsor NY Partnership
YMCA of Broome County – West Family Branch

An independent committee narrowed down hundreds of organizations. The 12 finalists listed above are in the running. You can cast a vote for your favorite by clicking here. The top five finalists will win the grant.

Voting starts Aug. 21 at noon and runs through Aug. 25 at noon.
