BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- You have a chance to vote for your favorite community non-profit organization, which could win a $2,000 grant from Upstate Shredding through Southern Tier Tuesdays.

A non-profit is awarded a $2,000 grant every Tuesday during the year.

The nominees for September are:

  • Afton Glenwood Cemetery Association
  • Baden-Powell Council, Boy Scouts of America
  • Chapter BO – The P.E.O. International Sisterhood
  • Dale’s Depot
  • Delaware Valley Humane Society
  • Finger Lakes ReUse
  • Mercy House of the Southern Tier
  • NYTL Northern Tioga Youth League
  • The Retired Professional Fire Fighters Cancer Fund
  • Athens-Sayre CHOW for Children
  • Windsor Corn Festival & Tractor Show of the Windsor NY Partnership
  • YMCA of Broome County – West Family Branch

An independent committee narrowed down hundreds of organizations. The 12 finalists listed above are in the running. You can cast a vote for your favorite by clicking here. The top five finalists will win the grant.

Voting starts Aug. 21 at noon and runs through Aug. 25 at noon.
