Maine-Endwell basketball standout Dominic L’Amoreaux commits to Bloomsburg
ENDWELL, N.Y. (WBNG) - Maine-Endwell guard Dominic L’Amoreaux made it official on Tuesday afternoon, signing his letter of intent to attend Bloomsburg University and join their basketball program.
L’Amoreaux was one of the leaders of a Maine-Endwell team that struggled at the start of the season this year, but was able to right the ship as the year continued and carry that momentum all the way to a Section 4 championship over Union-Endicott. L’Amoreaux was a big reason for the Spartans’ success over the year, scoring nearly 25 points per game as he led his team to a section crown. His point total of 572 points in the season is a program-best.
Now he heads to Bloomsburg, which he picked for its proximity to home, its educational offerings, and the basketball team itself.
“It was a stressful time, all these schools, all these different coaches messaging me trying to get me to come to their school,” L’Amoreaux said. “I was trying to figure out what the best home and fit for me. not just on the basketball side of things but the educational side of things. [Bloomsburg] is a great school, great business program, great campus, great basketball team. I love the coach, great guy, the whole team seems nice. It was just everything I wanted in a school.”
