BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WBNG) - Chenango Valley defenseman and team captain Linden Knup officially signed his national letter of intent to play for Division 2 Drury University on Monday afternoon.

The two-time all-defense team selection was a big contributor on the defensive side of the ball for the Warriors in 2022. A three-year varsity letter winner, Knup helped his team to a Section 4 Championship in 2021, and a second-place finish in 2022.

Knup was originally committed to play for Utica, but Drury contacted the defender and offered him significant playing time as a freshman for their new men’s lacrosse program. And Knup jumped at the opportunity.
