ENDICOTT (WBNG) -- The Endicott Board of Trustees held a meeting this evening on June 20th, to discuss different projects and ideas for their local area.

This included plans for the Washington Street Revitalization Project, showcasing new features such as new crosswalks - dozens of new parking spots - new lights - and even new unloading stops for delivery services and public transit.

Chris Maby, the Director of civil engineering at Delta Engineers spoke during the presentation about certain areas that are going to be focused on.

“Basically we are looking at this storefront to storefront with new sidewalk, crosswalks, green space and some spaces where we don’t necessarily want people walking on, but we wanna do something to dress it up to make it a little more inviting than a vast array of concrete.”

The proposed plan would see the Washington Street area getting an almost complete makeover, improving traffic conditions as well as the overall look.
