BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WBNG) - The Binghamton Rumble Ponies will be hosting a watch party at Mirabito Stadium on Tuesday night for Max Scherzer’s second rehab start with the team. The Ponies will be on the road in Hartford taking on the Yard Goats.

Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday ahead of the 7:05 p.m. first pitch from Dunkin’ Donuts Park. The game will be shown on the jumbotron in the outfield as the Rumble Ponies will be wearing their special City Edition jerseys.

In his last rehab start, Scherzer struck out six batters while allowing two runs on three hits in a 7-6 loss to the Reading Fightin’ Phils on June 21.
