FORECAST DISCUSSION:
A few spotty showers early this evening, but otherwise partly cloudy. Temperatures cool into the low to mid 50s. Fog may develop during the early morning hours.
Patchy fog may linger into the mid-morning on Thursday before eventually burning off. Once it does it will give way to a relatively nice day across the region with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the 80s. Few locations further west may hit the mid to upper 80s.
More hot weather is in the forecast for Friday. The main difference will be an increase in humidity overnight. This will make conditions a bit more unpleasant.
Fourth of July weekend kicks off with a few showers in the forecast. At the moment, models are concentrating the majority of these showers right along the NY/PA border. Further north up towards the Finger Lakes may only see an isolated shower before the sun emerges.
The rest of the holiday weekend looks to be dry. Make sure to stay with 12 News for all of the latest on the forecast.
