HARTFORD, C.T. (WBNG) - The Binghamton Rumble Ponies won their second straight game as they beat the Hartford Yard Goats 7-1 to split their series.

Ronny Mauricio hit his fifteenth home run of the year when crushed a three-run blast in the fourth inning to put the Ponies up 5-0. Binghamton first got on the board in the third when Hayden Senger had an RBI single and Carlos Cortes scored off a wild pitch.

Hartford got their only run of the game when Jimmy Herron drove in Daniel Montano with a single in the fifth inning.

The Rumble Ponies then scored runs in the seventh from a Jeremy Vasquez double and in the ninth when Wyatt Young scored off a Zach Ashford ground out.

Binghamton returns home on Monday to begin a series against the Portland Sea Dogs with first pitch at 6:35 p.m. at Mirabito Stadium.
