FORECAST DISCUSSION:
A weak low pressure off to our east will lead to some clouds, especially out towards Delaware County for most of the day. Further north and west sunshine prevails, allowing for temperatures to be a bit warmer.
Spotty showers are possible for the first half of Tuesday as a weak cold front pushes through the region. However, this front is nothing impressive and will likely only knock down our afternoon highs a degree or two. The biggest difference will be felt overnight into Wednesday as low dew points permit temperatures to fall into the 50s.
Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be the two hottest days on the 7 Day forecast. Thursday is the big day though as temperatures warm into the 90s!
A cold front drops in from the north late on Thursday leading to the chance for showers and storms. As the front progresses through the region it grinds to a halt and parks itself over the Twin Tiers. This will set up an unsettled pattern through the weekend as moisture rides along this stalled-out front.
