Nice weather for the end of the work week

TONIGHT: Isolated showers taper early giving way to mainly clear skies. Fog develops late. Low of 56 (51-57). Winds light.

FRIDAY: Sunny to partly cloudy skies and warm. High of 84 (80-86). Winds light.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Mainly clear skies. Patchy fog possible late. Low of 60 (55-61). Winds light.

SATURDAY: Warm and muggy with partly sunny skies. Isolated showers and storms possible 30%. High of 87 (82-89). Low of 62.

FORECAST DISCUSSION:

The showers that developed this afternoon taper as the sunsets. Clouds diminish and allow for skies to clear overnight. Predawn fog develops across the region.

Once the fog burns off Friday morning sunshine prevails with dry conditions from start to finish. Temperatures are forecast to be on the warm side of things, but nothing too crazy.

The chance for showers and storms returns to the forecast on Saturday. Most of the activity should be isolated. The better chance for more widespread precipitation comes Monday as a low pressure interacts with a stationary front draped over the mid-Atlantic.
