Six-vehicle crash on NY-17, causes headaches during evening commute

(WBNG) -- According to 511 New York, there was a six car crash with injuries on NY-17 Westbound between Exit 69 in the Town of Union and Exit 67N in Vestal. Broome County Sheriff’s Office said the call came in around 5:40 p.m.

According to 511NY, at the time, all traffic was diverted off SR-17 Westbound at exit 69 to SR-17C (West) to re-enter at exit 67.

Broome County Sheriff’s Office said the Department of Transportation (DOT), Endwell Fire Department, Union Volunteer Emergency Squad, and New York State Police were all on the scene.

During the call with the sheriff’s office, 12 News learned there were a “couple of injuries and they have been transported.”

(WBNG) -- According to 511 New York, there was a crash with injuries on NY-17 Westbound between Exit 69 in the Town of Union and Exit 67N in Vestal.

511NY reports that all lanes are blocked due to a crash involving several vehicles.

A 12 News crew is on the scene and reports all traffic is being diverted off exit 69 to re-enter at exit 67.

DOT and emergency personnel are on scene.
