#15 SUNY Cortland dominates The College of New Jersey 63-7, improves to 2-0 on the season

CORTLAND, N.Y. (WBNG) - The #15 ranked SUNY Cortland Red Dragons scored three touchdowns in the first quarter as they easily beat The College of New Jersey 63-7 on Saturday afternoon.

Quarterback Zac Boyes had his second straight four touchdown game as he went 10-for-13 with 235 yards and four scores. Cole Burgess was a big target for Boyes, as he had 140 yards and three touchdowns on four catches. On the ground, Jaden Alfanostjohn added another four touchdowns on his 13 carries for 53 yards.

Defensively, Craig Ackerman led Cortland with 10 total tackles including a sack. Nick Ladaro led the Red Dragons with two sacks.

This the Red Dragons tenth straight win against TCNJ in their all-time series.

Next up for Cortland, they go on the road to take on Buffalo State next Saturday, September 17 at 12 p.m.
