Tonight: Variable clouds with a chance of scattered showers. Low: 57-63

Monday: 90% chance of rain and storms. Any storms could be strong to severe with damaging wind a possibility. High: 72-78

Monday Night: A few showers around. Low: 53-58

Forecast Discussion:

Some showers are possible tonight but as a cold front approaches the area from Canada Monday, the chance of rain and storms will increase substantially. It will be a muggy day with a 90% chance of showers and storms. Any storms could produce gusty, possibly damaging, winds. The chance of severe weather is low, but not zero. Areal coverage of any severe storms would likely be isolated. Highs climb into the mid 70s.

A warm front is expected to lift through the area Wednesday and should bring some scattered showers with it. The chance of rain is 40%. A few storms are possible. Thursday, the trailing cold front swings through and it will be a strong cold front. Fall arrives Thursday, too. Behind the front Thursday night and Friday conditions look ripe for breezy conditions and some lake effect rain showers. Highs Thursday will be in the 60s but upper 40s and low to mid 50s are likely for highs Friday.

Next weekend looks seasonable with highs in the 60s. The chance of rain is low both days.
