New York State Maple Weekend -- The sugar house at Tholhill Farm

(WBNG) -- New York State Maple Weekend began in 1995 and started off as a simple “Maple Sunday.” Now, 27 years later, it officially spans four days on two weekends.

Open houses are taking place on farms across New York for the public to see the process of maple sap cooking down to syrup.
