SVHS Saber Stage Productions presents: “Hadestown”

CONKLIN, N.Y. (WBNG) -- Susquehanna Valley High School Saber Stage Productions is hosting a school musical: “Hadestown,” at the High School Auditorium at 1040 Conklin Road in Conklin.

“Hadestown” is a musical that retells the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. Anaïs Mitchell wrote the music, lyrics, and book for the musical. Set in a New Orleans-inspired meeting house during the Depression era, the musical is about a young couple, Orpheus and Eurydice, whose love story takes place in a reimagined underworld.

The performances will occur on Feb. 21 at 7 p.m., Feb. 22 at 7 p.m., and Feb. 23 at 2 p.m.
