Bearcats split season season with New Hampshire after 65-38 loss

DURHAM, NH (WBNG) -- Binghamton Women’s Basketball went cold after the 1st Quarter as the New Hampshire Wildcats pulled away for a 65-38 win.
Sophomore Guard Bella Pucci once again scored in double figures, and lead the Bearcats in points with 14 on Thursday night. Pucci added 3 steals and 4 rebounds in the loss.
Sophomore Forward Kendall Bennett added 10 points, going 5-of-6 shooting from the field. Bennett blocked 2 shots and grabbed 2 boards on the defensive end for Binghamton.
The Bearcats remain a game above .500 overall at 14-13 on the year. Binghamton is 2 games under .500 in the America East at 6-8, and are currently the 7th seed with 2 games to play in the regular season.
Binghamton remains on its New England road trip, and heads to Maine on Saturday for a rematch with the Black Bears. Binghamton defeated Maine 69-59 earlier in the year, on Dr. Bai Lee Court.
Tip-off between Binghamton and Maine is at 2:00pm on Saturday.
