Airport Inn kicks off ‘Cans n Clams’ night

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WBNG) -- It was a packed house at the Airport Inn for their beloved “Cans n Clams” event on Friday.

This is their first time hosting this event in their new location.

Owner Travis Evans said turnout for the first night was unbelievable.

Cans n Clams will be held at the restaurant every Friday until the end of summer.

“Every Friday night, it gives you a place to go after work,” said Evans. “Come, hang out, start your weekend off. We have live bands. We have food. It’s a good time with a bunch of people, and it’s a good atmosphere.”

If you missed out on the event this Friday, mark your calendars for the next.

The event runs from 6 to 10 p.m. It will feature a different band every Friday.

The Airport Inn is located at 2166 Airport Road in Binghamton.
