ENDICOTT, N.Y. (WBNG) -- Endicott leaned into a feel-good, pet-friendly vibe Sunday as PawFest combined a 5K and dog run with music, food and vendors.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Park Street, PawFest brought together runners, families and four-legged companions for a packed schedule of events.

The day started with a 5K run through the Village of Endicott and was followed by a 1k For the Dogs.

The event also included a kids’ “Lil’ Pups” fun run, adding to the family-focused atmosphere.

The event featured live music, food trucks, vendors, a pup pageant, and a variety of activities for individuals, families and their dogs.

PawFest even included a Pup Pageant, where owners could register their dogs to compete for titles in specific categories such as “Best Smile,” “Best Dressed” and more.

Throughout the event, organizers encouraged attendees to support its beneficiaries, including Team HopeFull and Pawlandias, programs that support people with Prader-Willi syndrome and other developmental disabilities and help create meaningful employment opportunities in the community.
