Connor Thompson
Meteorologist/MMJ

Connor Thompson joined the WBNG news team in September 2022 as a meteorologist and MMJ.
He has always loved the weather, starting at the age of five asking his babysitter to turn on the Weather Channel instead of cartoons.
Connor graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2016 with a degree in broadcasting and went back to school to follow his dreams, where he graduated with a meteorology degree from SUNY Brockport in 2020.
Prior to arriving at WBNG, Connor spent two years at WENY, the CBS affiliate in Elmira, NY. There he covered numerous snowstorms, severe thunderstorms, and tornadoes. He also reported on many different topics in the Twin Tiers, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and farm markets.
Connor and his wife, Kelsey, have one son, Rowan, and are excited to call Binghamton home.
