Julia Laude joined WBNG in the summer of 2022 as a Co-Host & Producer of Around the Tiers. Born and raised in upstate New York, Julia is excited to continue her career in her hometown.

The 2012 Seton High School graduate went on to attend St. John Fisher College in Rochester and earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication/Journalism with a minor in Visual and Performing Arts in 2016.

She started her journalism journey in Fairbanks, Alaska as a general assignment reporter at KTVF11 and KXDF13. During her time living in the last frontier, she enjoyed reporting on K-12 education, the military, and Fairbanks city government. She also anchored KXDF13's nightly newscast.

The awarding winning journalist was also honored by the Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists for her piece sharing the story of a mother's grief and the initiative to prosecute the drug dealer that killed her son.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, making paper crafts, and spending time with family. If you have any story ideas, feel free to reach her at jlaude@wbng.com.
