Lauren Del Valle

Lauren joined the 12 News team in April of 2023 as the producer and co-host of "Around the Tiers."
Lauren, a Westchester native, is a 2021 graduate of SUNY Cortland with a BA in communications and a 2022 graduate of the University of Miami with a MA in journalism.
During her time at SUNY Cortland, Lauren was the Website Editor and a Staff Writer on the Dragon Chronicle, and worked on the NPR affiliate station, WSUC 90.5 The Dragon. Lauren was also a member and Diversity Chairwoman of the Alpha Sigma Alpha Gamma Clio chapter, and a singer on one of the school's acapella groups. While studying abroad in the Spring of 2020 at Florence University of the Arts, Lauren worked as a journalist extern and a student videographer producing content for the school's website.
Lauren has just recently returned from Miami, Florida, where she completed her master's degree. Lauren hosted an award-winning comedy show, "Off the Wire," and worked as a contributing writer for The Miami Hurricane and CommunityWire.Miami. Lauren additionally interned as a journalist for BBC World News America on a PBS affiliate station based in Washington, DC.
