Originally from Syracuse, Alex has spent a majority of his life enjoying all of what Upstate and Central New York has to offer.
In high school, Alex attended the Media Marketing and Communications program through OCM BOCES. Alex has also worked for News Channel 9 WSYR in Syracuse as a production intern for "Bridge Street."
He attended SUNY Plattsburgh where he earned his Bachelor’s in Broadcast Journalism and Television Production. While living in the North Country, he became the regular evening anchor for “PS News”, and eventually worked his way up to becoming one of the college’s first News Directors. He served as President for the school’s chapter of National Broadcasting Society, as well as founding the Plattsburgh Media Club. He is a member of the Lambda Pi Eta Delta Xi Communications Honor Society, as well as the Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society.
While earning his degree, Alex worked part-time for WVNY/ WFFF Local 22 & 44 News in Burlington, Vermont. This is where he secured the title of Senior Weekend reporter covering local matters from Lebanon, New Hampshire, all the way to Tupper Lake, NY.
Now living in the Southern Tier, Alex enjoys running, hiking and adventuring. He also enjoys eating at many different local restaurants and is always open to new suggestions!
