ENDICOTT, N.Y. (WBNG) -- The Campville Fire Department released security footage from the storm on April 15.

Officials said a tree fell onto primary power lines on Tilbury Hill Road. The high voltage line went to a nearby home, resulting in an explosion at the homeowner’s electrical panel.

The Campville Fire Department said the homeowner acted quickly and prevented further fire from spreading.

Officials said to treat downed power lines as live, stay away from them and call 911 immediately.
