CORTLAND, N.Y. (WBNG) -- The Cortland Red Dragons have been on a tear this season which led to the team garnering 20 All-Conference selections and awards for Defensive Player of the Year and Coaching Staff of the Year.

Senior linebacker for the Red Dragons, Aden Wiser, was named the Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Year following an outstanding season.

In 10 games played Wiser racked up 33 tackles (22 solo), 9.5 total tackles for loss (69 yds), 1 interception and 1 forced fumble.

The Cortland coaching staff was also recognized by the Empire 8 for the fifth straight year, however, it would be the first for head coach Tom Blumenauer in his first year leading the program.

The All-Conference bids are as follows:
