Costumed intruder crashes internet-famous monkey’s zoo enclosure

(CNN) - A costumed intruder was caught on camera crashing a zoo enclosure that houses an internet-famous monkey.

Video from a Japanese zoo shows a person jumping into an enclosure full of monkeys while wearing a bizarre costume with a large, goofy, smiling head.

One of the monkeys housed in the enclosure was Punch, who went viral for finding comfort in a stuffed orangutan toy after being abandoned at birth.

Officials said two Americans, who deny the allegations, were detained following the stunt.
