Chenango Valley Central School District passes $52.9 million budget

CHENANGO VALLEY, N.Y. (WBNG) -- The Chenango Valley Central School District’s $52.9 million budget has passed.

The budget passed with 289 votes in favor, and only 71 votes against.

Two propositions were also passed, including funding to improve bus fleets and a tax levy proposition for the Fenton Free Library.

Lindsey Holcomb was elected to the Chenango Valley School Board with 317 votes. Holcomb will serve one four-year term.
